How to Add Free Online English Grammar Checker in your PC/Laptop?

English is also known as the "Universal Language" because it is the most widespread language in the world. Majority of the countries include this in their curriculum, and most of us might have already developed the skills in using this language. However, as a human being especially if we are a bilingual or multilingual person, our language capability becomes limited. Having a limited vocabulary and grammar skills is awful and it might lessen our confidence. This will be a hassle for us especially if we are going to send a formal email, social media post, and even a blog post. We will become doubtful to our sentence construction and lots of questions will keep bothering us in our head: "Is this a grammatically correct sentence?" "How about the spelling?" "Is this the right word for this?" "Did I use the right punctuation?".

The good thing is that you're currently reading this post because I am going to teach you How to Add Free Online English Grammar Checker in your PC/Laptop. Let me first introduce "Grammarly" to all of you.
Grammarly is an online grammar checking, spell checking, and plagiarism detection platform developed by Grammarly, Inc. The software was first released in late 2009. Grammarly's proofreading resources check against more than 250 grammar rules.

How to install the Grammarly plugin in your PC/Laptop?

Step 1: Run your internet browser and go to Grammarly Website (Click the link)
You can use any of these Grammarly supported browsers:
In my case, I will use the latest version of Mozilla Firefox.

Step 2: Click "Add to Firefox" button
Take note that the button label depends on the name of your browser. If you are using Google Chrome, you will see "Add to Chrome" button. Same with the other browsers.

Step 3: Click the "Allow" button

Step 4: Wait for the download process
It'll take few seconds but it still depends on the speed of your internet connection.

Step 5: Click the "Add" button

Step 6: Click the "Grammarly icon" at the upper right corner of your screen
Grammarly is now installed but key features are still unlocked so proceed to the next step.

Step 7: Click "Sign up" button and wait until the page successfully loaded

7.1: Enter your email address

 7.2: Enter your password

7.3: Enter your name

7.4: Personalize Grammarly
Click the blanks, choose from the options and click continue.

7.5: Click "Continue to Save Your Settings" button

7.6: Choose your plan
You can choose between "Free" which has fewer features or "Premium" which has more advanced features. It depends on you.

7.7: Install other Grammarly apps (Optional)
Grammarly is also available on Microsoft Office and in Windows. You can install any of the two if you want. Skip this part if you're not interested.

Step 8: Activate Grammarly
You can activate Grammarly by creating a new post in social media, for example, compose an email or create a new blog post. Click any textbox area and a small window will pop up, simply, click the "YES, START WRITING" button. You can also try the "Short Tour" on how to use Grammarly.

Grammarly is now active! Good job!
You will now be able to see errors in your sentence. Hover your mouse on the error and you will see the suggested fix.
